Pump insurance Impact in Kitgum

I am Mary, a subscriber and customer of the Water Access Consulting (WAC) pump insurance (PiN) program in Kitgum, Northern Uganda. My community and I contacted WAC in 2020 during COVID-19 and agreed to have our non-functional borehole rehabilitated and upgraded under a PiN agreement for 5 years. As agreed, we are comfortable paying a monthly service fee of $13 to WAC. Over the past 3 years, we have not experienced any damaged wells, and our water samples are collected and analyzed regularly.
