Company profile · Uganda · Est. 2017
Water Access Consulting (WAC) is an independent specialist consultancy focused on safe water supply - from groundwater investigation and infrastructure engineering to service innovation and operational readiness.
Who we are
Since 2017, WAC has delivered technical assignments in groundwater, water infrastructure, solar-powered water systems, water-service innovation and institutional planning.
We combine field investigation, engineering design, implementation support, technical supervision and capacity development - helping clients move from water need to dependable, well-managed service. Hygiene and sanitation are complementary components when a broader WASH assignment calls for them.
Discover selected assignmentsA connected system
Water supply depends on more than a source alone. WAC considers how abstraction, energy, storage, distribution and day-to-day operation fit together.
What we do
Practical, evidence-led support across the stages that shape a reliable water service - from understanding the source to strengthening delivery.
Build the evidence for responsible groundwater development and well-targeted investment.
Plan and assess infrastructure for safe, dependable supply.
Technical support for solar water infrastructure and its operation.
Testing and technical controls that inform commissioning and handover.
Explore more accountable, sustainable models for decentralized services.
Strengthen the organisations and people who sustain water services.
Hygiene and sanitation are supporting capabilities within relevant WASH assignments; safe water supply remains WAC’s core specialisation.
How we work
Every assignment is shaped around its technical question, field conditions and intended use. We connect investigation and analysis to practical design, implementation and operations support.
